Immanuel Bible Foundation Art Studio
Suellen Goken, a retired art teacher is offering art classes to home school children at Immanuel Bible Foundation. Suellen believes that all children are born with a desire to create. In order for a child to fully develop his/her creative abilities, he/she needs to be encouraged and vailidated. Suellen takes the responsibility to encourage each child while teaching the fundamentals of art so that the student can develop to his/her full artistic potential.
During the class, students will experience several areas of two-dimensional art, (drawing, charcoal, watercolor, pastels, etc.) This class is offered to children who are at least in second grade, or seven years, through high school. High school students will work more independtly than younger students, but still with teacher direction. Class sizes are limited to 12 students and meet at Immanuel Bible Foundation in Normal.
Classes will not be offered during the Fall 2010 session. Watch back here for details regarding a Winter 2011 session.
Community Art
