Many homeschooling parents find that the experiences and activities offered by scouting groups fit right in with their homeschooling goals. Opportunities are available for local youth to join in with scouts in the Bloomington-Normal area. In some instances groups are available specifically for homeschool students. In other instances, homeschool students choose to join groups with their peers in private or public schools. Contact the following organizations if you would like to participate.

While many homeschool girls have participated as "Juliettes", some activities are more enjoyable with a troop. Visit Central Illinois Girl Scouts in order to find a troop that will meet your Girl Scouting needs.
